City Shapers!

Teams must build a robot to complete as many of the City Shaper Missions as possible. Students may use LEGO EV3, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi or any platform to program their robot. The object of the game is to shape your growing city with more stable, beautiful, useful, accessible and sustainable buildings and structures. Solve the real-world problems represented in the Missions to score points.

 

The Goal:

Teams must build a robot to complete as many of the City Shaper Missions as possible. Students may use LEGO EV3, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi or any platform to program their robot. The object of the game is to shape your growing city with more stable, beautiful, useful, accessible and sustainable buildings and structures. Solve the real-world problems represented in the Missions to score points.

Remember: Each official match lasts 2.5 minutes. You may not have time to complete all the Missions, so be strategic about which ones you choose.

Brief Summary of Rules (this is NOT the complete set of rules)
Robot Game Objectives
  1. Identify the missions you want to solve
  2. Design, build and program a LEGO robot to complete the missions
  3. Complete as many missions as you can in 2.5 minutes
Rules
  1. Your robot must be fully autonomous – no remote control
  2. You must start your robot in the Launch Area
  3. Once the robot is in action you cannot touch it
  4. When your robot returns back to the Launch Area you can: update the program, make adjustments, connect/remove attachments
